* Our present Grand Prior of All Britain met General Zdrowjewski when he (the latter) was a Colonel in the Free Polish Army) lodged at the family home in England when training with the Free French Forces, before the end of World War II.  General Charles de Gaulle (then a Colonel in the Free French Army) held a meeting with Zdrowjewski at the family home and presented the Grand Prior's father with one of his Free French Flags - which the Grand Prior now owns.  After the War Zdrowjewski became a French citizen and a General in the French Army.
