A prayer for the day of the Grand Prior's funeral:

Almighty God,
Our merciful and compassionate Father and Friend,
We commend to your Love and Care
Our dear Brother Brian,
The Grand Prior of Wales of our noble Order of Knights Templar.
We pray that you will receive Brian's spirit
And look upon him through the eyes of Jesus,
Not as a sinner, as are we all,
But as one redeemed by the saving grace of
The Christ who died that we all might live
Safe and secure in His heaven with you
And the Holy Spirit
Ever One, God for ever.
Amen.

WEDNESDAY 16 AUGUST 2018

It was with great sadness and sincere regret that we had to report the death
of our much loved and hugely respected Grand Prior of Wales.

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has called Brian home to glory.
May he rest in peace and at the Last Day rise victorious.

A prayer:

Support us, O Lord,
all the day long of this troublesome life,
until the shadows lengthen
and the evening comes,
the busy world is hushed,
the fever of life is over
and our work is done.
Then, Lord, in your mercy
grant us a safe lodging,
a holy rest, and peace at the last;
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
